Linh Truong

Linh S. Truong has 30 years of experience in corporate governance, risk and control frameworks inpublic accounting, and leadership roles in multiple industries including financial services, oil/gas, and healthcare. Truong holds designations including an MBA, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and the Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CIA).Truong’s employment experience includes positions with KPMG, Credit Suisse Group, Alon USA,Kosmos Energy and Orthofix Medical. As the former Chief Audit Executive at three of her former employers, she established the enterprise risk management initiatives and launched the internal audit functions from ground zero. Her audit career provided her with the opportunity to travel the world for her work, including consulting experience training and advising the internal audit team at a Fortune 20 multi-national energy company to implement agile auditing and conducting an assessment at a technology company to identify gaps in their ITGC controls framework compared to external audit requirements. Truong is the CAE of NTTA (North Texas Tollway Authority) and is responsible for transforming the Internal Audit department and launching an Enterprise Risk Management process. She has authored articles addressing corporate culture, agile auditing and launching audit departments and is currently an executive consultant and professional speaker. She also develops and delivers training content for ACI Learning, including Risk School, Assessing ERM, and Audit Management courses.
