Tech Academy offers multiple funding options to help make IT and cybersecurity training more accessible. These include veteran education benefits, workforce grants, payment plans, student loans, employer tuition assistance, scholarships, and standard payment methods. Our admissions team helps students identify which options they may qualify for.

No. Many students use funding options that reduce or eliminate upfront costs, including grants, veteran benefits, and financing plans. Payment plans and student loans can also spread tuition over time rather than requiring full payment at enrollment.

Eligible students may use Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Montgomery GI Bill®, Chapter 31 VR&E, or VET TEC benefits to cover tuition. Some programs may also provide housing allowances or living stipends while training, depending on benefit type and eligibility.

VET TEC is a VA education benefit that covers 100% of tuition for approved technology training programs and does not use GI Bill entitlement. Eligible veterans may also receive a monthly housing allowance while enrolled full-time.

Yes. Many students qualify for workforce funding programs such as WIOA or vocational rehabilitation benefits. Eligibility is typically based on employment status, income, or career transition goals. Our admissions team helps students understand requirements and navigate the application process.

Career changers may qualify for funding options such as workforce grants, financing plans, and scholarships. Veterans transitioning to civilian careers may have additional benefit options available. Eligibility depends on individual circumstances.

If your employer offers tuition reimbursement or education assistance, Tech Academy programs may qualify. Our admissions team can provide documentation to help you submit reimbursement requests through your employer.

Students who do not qualify for grants or military benefits can still enroll using payment plans, student loans, scholarships, or personal payment methods. Admissions advisors work one-on-one with students to explore the best available option.

The best way to determine eligibility is to speak with a Tech Academy admissions advisor. They’ll review your background, goals, and financial situation to help you identify funding options and next steps.

Veteran funding programs

We proudly support our veterans through a variety of funding programs. These options are designed to help you leverage your benefits and transition smoothly into a tech career. We’re experts on VA funding and can help you navigate the process.
The Post-9/11 GI Bill® provides education benefits to veterans and service members who served after September 10, 2001.
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) assists veterans with service-connected disabilities.
Provides education benefits to active duty members and veterans.
The Veteran Employment Through Technology Education (VET TEC) program helped veterans and transitioning service members develop high-tech skills for careers in the tech sector.

Workforce grants

For those who are unemployed, especially 6 months or more, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program provides grants that can cover a significant portion of your tuition. These grants are available to individuals seeking employment, career advancement, or transitioning into a new career field.
This program helps San Antonio city residents (18 years or older) that meet the income guidelines through career transitions with guidance, resources like childcare and transportation, personalized career and training plans, course enrollment costs, and job interview prep.
These programs provide VR services for individuals with disabilities so that they may prepare for and engage in competitive integrated employment or supported employment and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Payment plans & student loans

Sign up for a payment plan, a simple way to help break down larger tuition amounts into monthly or weekly installments. Deferred payment plans may be available.
No down payment is needed for those who meet credit score requirements. Preview your loan options upfront and find the right loan for your needs. Options include: 0% interest, deferred payments, or standardized payments. Applying does not affect credit.

Tuition reimbursement/assistance

Tuition reimbursement (also known as tuition assistance) is an employee benefit through which an employer pays for a certain amount of continuing education credits or college coursework to be applied toward a degree. ACI Learning Tech Academy is recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education and qualifies for most Tuition Reimbursement programs. Check eligibility with your employer.
